June Happy Thoughts

1. SUMMER SUMMER SUMMER!
I am so excited for summer: I love the warm weather, camping, hiking, barbecues, swimming, picnics, water skiing, and all those other outdoor activities you can't do any other time of year.  If anyone wants to go hiking or do any other fun activities let me know, I am on the hunt for play mates!

2. Kensie's dance recital:  She actually danced and smiled this time!  Her last recital she stood there biting her nails with very little dancing.  This time she had fun and danced, I am a proud Mama (as always).

3. Blue Bunny Extra Chunky Cookie Dough Ice Cream:
This month I discovered how amazing this ice cream is. Sure it is cookie dough ice cream, and yes it is extra chunky, BUT what makes it so amazing is that there is a ribbon of cookie batter throughout it... YUM! I am hooked.

4. Time with Kensie: It is summer, that means no preschool and extra time with Kensie.  Okay, so she only goes to preschool for two hours on Tuesday and Thursdays, but it will be fun to use that extra time to play and do fun summer activities.  I will admit that this also means less child free time to get stuff done... but I will survive.  So far this summer we have gone to Cowabunga Bay in Draper, the zoo twice, swimming at our pool twice, up Cottonwood Canyon to roast hot dogs/marshmallows, and many times to the park to play and have picnics.  Did I mention I love summer?

5. Celebrating my Dad's birthday in Eden:
Camping (kind of), four wheeling, out on the boat, dancing through a field of flowers.  Good day. Happy Birthday Daddy, I love you!

6. Vacations: I have a couple of quick trips planned for July, I am so excited.  Bear Lake and Jackson Hole, can't wait!

7. Kid History: Cracks me up. Yep, it sure does. (Due to technical difficulties I was unable to publish these in this post.  Please look at my previous posts below on my blog for the YouTube videos).
