Been There, Done That...

The last few weeks I have been thinking a lot about past adventures.  I love traveling. I used to do it a lot.  Now however, because of obvious reasons it is more difficult to get away.  But what is bothering me, as silly as this may seem, is that I have no proof of past trips.  Let me explain. No vacations have been blogged about, no pictures posted on facebook.  All of my evidence is stored away in pictures on my computer not being used.  Yes, I know I should scrap book more. But today I want to reminisce on old trips.  Did I mention I love to travel?

MEXICAN RIVIERA CRUISE

NEW YORK

Terrible picture, but that is the old Yankees stadium before they moved

MAUI & THE BIG ISLAND

Crackin' coconuts... or at least trying to
The road to Hana: Never drive this curvy coastal road during your first trimester of pregnancy, lets just say we had to make a few emergency stops to the side of the road...

KOREA

My Zodiac sign
Korean BBQ... HEAVENLY!!!

HONG KONG

Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha)
The Gondola to the Big Buddha is 5.7 km long!
Meat market...Yum!   Americanized Chinese food = yummy, authentic Chinese food = disgusting! The food tastes like the meat markets smell... and believe me you don't want to know what that is like...
CHEAP shopping and New Years Eve
Disney Land Hong Kong

Amy
FLORIDA
The Everglades

CAMPING, HIKING, AND OUT DOOR FUN

I have been a few places but I haven't even skimmed the surface of everything I want to see. But for now I will be content thinking of these past trips and others that are not worth mentioning :-)   I do however, have future vacations on the drawing board. Stay tuned...

  1. Cool! I didn't know you had been to Hong Kong. Or Korea. Dang. That is pretty awesome. I love that iguana on your shoulders there. Yikes.

I went to Mexico when I was 4. I've been to Guatemala, London, Paris, and... oh yeah Scotland. I haven't ever been to New York but I want to go. I used to live in Florida though so take that! Mwahahha.

We should go on a road trip. Say yes. We can even take the kids, they'll drive each other crazy and leave us alone! It's genius. GENIUS I TELL YOU.
